School Literacy and Culture was honored to host the PBS NewsHour team at the Rice University Oral and Written Language Laboratory (OWL Lab) at Houston ISD’s Gabriela Mistral Center for Early Childhood Education recently. Last night, the story was shared live on PBS. We are excited and proud to share the report with you! Congratulations to School Literacy and Culture’s Associate Director, Debra Paz, and established mentor, Lori Espinoza, who work ceaselessly to make the OWL Lab an incredible learning environment for students, parents and teachers alike. Your commitment to children and families is inspirational!
